Learning Lands is an innovative project-based learning tool that equips teachers with resources and materials to effectively support students from early childhood to years K-12 in developing intercultural understanding. Encouraging an inquiry-based approach, our materials aim to increase empathy, critical and creative thinking of the students.



Intercultural Citizenship Ambassador Program (ICAP)

ICAP is a 16-week program that equips students with the skills to become future leaders in an increasingly globalised world. This resource provides teachers with training and materials to facilitate the program in their classroom.

Sound Infusion

An award-winning online platform that enables students to create musical arrangements from an extensive archive of sound clips from around the world. Students can play, mix and edit sounds to create unique pieces and explore different cultures along the way.

Joko’s World

An engaging series of interactive stories and innovative gaming apps for preschool-age children that target literacy and numeracy, as well as intercultural competency. Children can follow the blue nightingale Joko to explore the fascinating planet as he travels the world and encounters different cultures and events.

Mungo Explorer

Curriculum-aligned, Mungo Explorer provides multidisciplinary learning activities, enabling students to discover the cultural and historical significance of Lake Mungo by peeking through a ‘window into Australia’s past'. The program is based on research by the geologist Jim Bowler, who discovered the oldest human remains in Australia.
